It may not look like much at this point, but it will grow in time. After all the research I did for my third Guardian article, I know that the more web series are added to IMDb, the meatier my profile will become. And with all the financing that Hollywood studios are throwing into internet videos, it shouldn’t take long.
On a side note, I have to feel proud. There aren’t many people who’ve transitioned from new to old media… if you sit and think about it a few minutes, most people who’ve “transitioned” actually started out in old media and used new media to get ahead in their careers. Most new media people on IMDb actually have credits from work that predates their internet series… Rudy and I are one of the few who truly started their entertainment career online.
What about that chick from Rocketboom?
Didn’t she move into mainstream media (ABC News)?

Personally, I’d like to see more “old” media people transitioning to new media! New media can be just as viable of a career.
